Introduction of two new books on Japanese history
On 25-6-2007, VDF organized a symposium at NEU to introduce two books newly translated into Vietnamese: Dr. Tadao Umesao's Ecological View of History and Prof. K.Ohno's Economic Development of Japan (see news below). Prof. Nguyen Van Kim (HNU, photo) explained the significance of Umesao's work and Prof. Ohno described Meiji Japan's high capability in economic development. Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, co-translator of Umesao's book, discussed historical philosophies. Prof. Nguyen Hai Ke (HNU), Mr. Tran Doan Lam (The Gioi Publisher), and participants also made comments and questions.http://www.vdf.org.vn/
